We are beyond excited to welcome DJ Nana Urigaeva to Ojos negros – Tangoweekend in Kazbegi, Georgia! again in 2025
Hailing from Georgia, Nana is an incredibly talented artist who seems to master everything she touches. She has taken the tango world by storm—not just as a DJ but also as a mesmerizing dancer, with performances reaching as far as Hong Kong.
Having recently moved to London, she has played music at some of the most renowned tango marathons across Europe. In recent years, her focus has shifted towards teaching, offering inspiring workshops.
That’s why we are especially proud and honored that she has made time in her busy schedule to return home and be part of a weekend that—while maybe not growing as fast as she did—has also flourished beautifully over the years.

From the very beginning, Cecilia has been a vital part of OjosNegros – not just as a DJ, but as a dancer, a folklore teacher, and a heartwarming soul who brings joy, rhythm, and connection wherever she goes.
Her tandas? Always on point. Her smile? Contagious. Her presence? Simply irreplaceable.Whether she’s behind the DJ desk or on the dance floor, Cecilia knows how to make the magic happen – with music that speaks to the moment.
Though she’s now a rising star in the European tango scene (with stops in Germany, Poland, Turkey and more), she’s still deeply connected to her chosen home: Georgia. And to us. 
OjosNegros wouldn’t be the same without her – and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
We’re excited to introduce DJ Gregor, a.k.a. Mr. Tangonaut, joining OjosNegrosTango for the very first time!
Coming from the Swiss tango hub of Basel, Gregor is known for taking what might seem like small steps – but somehow, they turn into giant leaps for everyone else. It’s a mystery… or maybe just physics 
. As the organizer of beloved events like Tres Besos, he’s become known for his brilliant choices when it comes to DJs and dancers – always creating an atmosphere that’s warm, welcoming, and full of connection. A perfect match for the OjosNegros spirit.

We’re thrilled to finally have him with us – and looking at that thoughtful expression in the photo, we can only guess what he might be thinking:

DJ Stefan – More Than Just “OK”! Tango started as a side business for Stefan OK a long time ago… but let’s face it—things escalated quickly! Now, he’s deep in the tango universe, organizing festivals, marathons, milongas, and prácticas while spinning tunes across the globe.
Known in the scene as Stefan OK, we have to clarify: his music is way more than just OK! With a razor-sharp mind and an even sharper sense for the perfect tanda, he curates unforgettable dance nights. And don’t even get him started on his precious vinyl collection—expect warm, rich sounds that will transport you straight to tango heaven.
So buckle up, embrace the magic, and let Stefan OK turn Ojos Negros 25 into an unforgettable dance experience! 
We’re super happy to share that DJ Alma Mia will be with us again at Ojos Negros!
She’s one of the few who’s already been part of the weekend before – and we just had to invite her back. Her music and her vibe left such a strong impression on all of us.
We were lucky she had time for us – she’s in high demand and her calendar fills up quickly!
Alma is a real multitalent: tango DJ (also with vinyl!), great leader and follower, yogi, organizer, teacher – and, casually, a mum of two fantastic kids. And the best part: they’re coming along this time!
So if you’re thinking about bringing your own kids – there will already be some lovely little playmates waiting.
Can’t wait to have her (and them!) back in the mountains

DJ Announcement – OjosNegros Tango Weekend 2025 I am beyond happy to introduce our next DJ Waldemar Tango – someone who doesn’t just bring his music, but pours his heart into making OjosNegros what it is: an international, vibrant, and deeply welcoming tango experience.
For the sixth time, he’ll join us in the stunning mountains of Georgia, helping to gather an amazing community from over 30 countries – all drawn by the majestic surroundings and the warm, familiar atmosphere that makes this weekend so unique.
On a personal note: he’s also one of my favorite DJs – which is probably why I keep inviting him year after year.
It’s been such a joy to travel together lately – spinning tandas and sharing laughter at festivals and marathons like TangoTageHalle, Tbilisi Tango Marathon, HDTM Heidelberg Tangomarathon, and Tangonautica Basel. And that’s just the beginning: ASTANA TANGO FESTIVAL and Korea are already on the horizon, and who knows where the music will take us next year…
Let’s welcome him back – with lots of abrazos and even more amazing tandas!

We are delighted to share that the last DJ spot for this year’s OjosNegros Tango Weekend goes to Margarita Kudlai from Zürich, originally from Ukraine – a rising star in the tango sky! ✨
Margarita not only shines behind the DJ desk but also organizes her own charity milonga La Luz to support her home country. She is smart, respectful, a wonderful dancer, and on top of all that – incredibly charming, warm-hearted, and pleasantly modest. In short: exactly the kind of person we were missing in our OjosNegros family this year.
And as if that weren’t enough, she has an almost instinctive, natural understanding of music selection that makes her tandas flow effortlessly.
We’re so happy she agreed to join us on such short notice and can’t wait to hear her set – we’re sure she’ll win the hearts of Georgia in no time! 🖤
